And Then There Were None - Agatha Christie

i'm pretty surprised that this is the first Agatha Christie novel i've ever read. not only that, but i've never even watched a movie or tv show based on one of her books. which, of course means, that the who-done-it in this popular novel is a complete mystery to me. i would have thought that the maid did it - isn't it always the maid? - but she's (supposedly) dead, so now everyone's a suspect.

i'm zipping through this pretty fast - faster than i'd thought - but i already know i'll be buying a second Christie novel in very short order.
